As noted at entertainment news sites, Demi Lovato wore a a red Texas-T-shirt under her black jacket, with matching red all-American lips, while doing her rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner“.

Lovato, 19, who is also included in list of performers at Z100’s Jingle Ball 2011 on December 9, sang the US National Anthem in front of an estimated crowd of 51,000 people at Rangers Ballpark.

“The rush of going out there … nothing compares to it. I feel like I’m about to jump out of a plane,” The “Skyscraper” singer was quoted at MTV before the said event.

“Getting to do this in my hometown of Dallas, Texas, is such a dream-come-true, because I’ve been to these Rangers games many times.” She added, noting that it will be a different environment for her.

Nevertheless, some observers were noted to have been impressed with her performance that night, which apparently Texas Rangers beat the St. Louis Cardinals and took a 3-2 lead.
