Bowie, who was born David Robert Jones on January 8, 1947, is back in what he does best; a decade after he last released his ‘Reality’ album, in 2003. His more than five decades in the music industry has not only brought him fame and fortune, as he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame back in 1996.

“Welcome to the relaunched DavidBowie.com and a whole bunch of exciting new things that you’ve no doubt already found on the splash page.” A statement reads at DavidBowie.com, adding that the site is a work in progress right now as they continue to import historical data such as The Forum, past news, among others.

“Throwing shadows and avoiding the industry treadmill is very David Bowie despite his extraordinary track record that includes album sales in excess of 130 million not to mention his massive contributions in the area of art, fashion, style, sexual exploration, and social commentary.” The statement added.

David Bowie‘s new song ‘Where Are We Now?‘ is written by Bowie himself, produced by Tony Visconti, and is being released via Iso/Columbia Records. This brand new single, with music video directed by Tony Oursler, is now available at Apple iTunes Store in 119 countries worldwide.
