David Beckham will be playing his farewell game with the LA Galaxy during their Major League Soccer final game against Houston Dynamo on Saturday, December 1, 2012.
Reports say that Beckham, a former Manchester United player, has decided to quit the California club and move on to another team.
Heading into his final soccer game in LA, Beckham said that “There’s an excitement around the team and around the club. It’s been an enjoyable week.”
Saturday’s game is a repeat of last year’s final that the Galaxy won, thanks to Landon Donovan‘s solitary goal. However, the attention now shifts from the grand final to the Englishman‘s farewell game with the Galaxy soccer club.
The 37-year-old Beckham is rumored to be transferring to AS Monaco. Other teams who have expressed interest in Beckham‘s services include Paris St Germain, Queens Park Rangers, and the West Ham United team.
Beckham joined LA Galaxy in January 11, 2007 for a 5-year contract worth $32.5 million. He played for 98 games in his six seasons with the LA Galaxy club.
