David Archuleta’s Album, “Forevermore”, Composed of Original Filipino Songs in English, Released by Ivory Music and Video

David Archuleta’sForevermore”, an album of original Filipino songs written in English, was released by Ivory Music & Video this March 24, 2012. This was reported by local entertainment sites on the same date.

Reportedly, some of the songs included in the album are popular Filipino songs like “Reaching Out” sang by Gary Valenciano and “You Are My Song” originally sang by Martin Nievera; the two most bankable stars in the music industry. The title of the album “Forevermore” was taken from Side A’s hit song “Forevermore,” which is also one of the beautiful songs in the album.

The Tagalog songNandito Ako,” (Here I Am) and incidentally the title of  Archuleta’s mini  TV series too on Channel 5, “Nandito Ako,” is also included in the album.

Nandito Akohad its finale last night, March 23, 2012, and that night, it had become a trending in Twitter worldwide, reports said.  The mini-TV series starred Eula Caballero, David Archuleta and Jasmine Curtis Smith.

Forevermoreis a collection of the original compositions of big-named singers and composers in the Filipino music industry. The list includes Ogie Alcasid, Jimmy Antiporda, Cecil Azarcon, Jay Durias, and Louie Ocampo.

Further reports said that David Archuleta, a previous American Idol runner-up in Season 7, is set to have a 2-yr vacation from showbiz as he pursues a religious mission.
