As aired at ABC on Tuesday night, Bristol Palin was voted out from the DWTS All-Stars on its Week 4 elimination night, after she received a total score of 32 points last Monday, where each of the three judges and guest judge Paula Abdul gave her and Mark Ballas 8 points. Kirstie Alley scored the lowest, though.
The Troupe and the professional dancers performed for the opening act on Tuesday night, and were immediately followed by the announcement of who will be safe and who will land in the Jeopardy. Shawn Johnson & Derek Hough, who were among the two dancing pairs to have the highest scores on Monday, was the first pair to be announced ‘safe.’
Dancing pairs Kelly Monaco & Valentin Chmerkovskiy and Sabrina Bryan & Louis van Amstel were also announced safe, while Bristol Palin & Mark Ballas was the first pair to land in Jeopardy. Palin and Ballas scored the lowest during the first two weeks but always end up as safe.
Later, Gilles Marini & Peta Murgatroyd and Emmitt Smith & Cheryl Burke are also announced as safe, while Apolo Ohno & Karina Smirnoff landed in Jeopardy. Melissa Rycroft & Tony Dovolani are also safe, while Kirstie Alley & Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who scored 30 points on Monday night, landed in Jeopardy.
Apolo Ohno and Kirstie Alley were later announced as ‘safe‘ and Bristol Palin was declared as the eliminated contestant. Bristol, Sarah Palin‘s daughter, landed as third during the DWTS 2010 Season 11 finals, and Mark was also her dancing partner that time.
Among the guest performers that night includes “Macy’s Stars of Dance Performance.” The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers (LXD), led by ballerina Jessica Keller, danced while Christina Grimmie is singing ‘Titanium’ and playing the piano. Susan Boyle and Donny Osmond had a duet and sang “This is the Moment.”
Meanwhile, Gilles & Peta, who was also the highest scorer last Monday, will be the captain for pairs Kelly & Val, Kirstie & Max, Emmitt & Cheryl, for the song ‘Gangnam Style’ for next week’s team dances. On the other hand, Shawn & Dereck will be the captain for Sabrina & Louis, Melissa & Tony, Apolo & Karina, for the song ‘Call Me Maybe.’
