Former boxing champion Sugar Ray Leonard was eliminated from Dancing With the Stars 2011, despite the fact that he and partner Anna Trebunsakaya did not get the lowest score.

As announced on ABC on Tuesday, April 12, 2011, Sugar Ray Leonard and his Anna Trebunsakaya were eliminated from the Dancing With the Stars 2011 based on the combined votes from the viewers and judges’ scores.

Apparently, the dancing pair has a score of 21 on Monday night, only the second to the lowest score which is 18 and was received by Kendra Wilkinson and Louis van Amstel.

‘Being a fighter, there’s a part of me that’s screaming. No question about it. I’m screaming inside. But I’m also a gracious loser if you will.” Sugar Ray Leonard told the reporters, as quoted at Entertainment Weekly.

“I’ve had the most phenomenal experience ever with a show that I was totally afraid of. I’ve met friends, met an incredible staff and a wonderful lady who taught me what I thought I couldn’t be taught. I had a great time.” The boxing legend added.

Last Monday, Sugar Ray Leonard and Anna Trebunsakaya danced to the tune of Viennese Waltz as shown in the video below.

Meanwhile, Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy had their second mishap as Kirstie’s shoe got loosen but managed to fix it and still scored 22, or third to the lowest.
