As noted at, users can simultaneously use multiple iPhones and Android phones to capture photos, videos, and conversations into a group album, with no attaching, uploading, or social friend invitation needed.

Apparently, this Color App, which was said to have had a $41-million investment, detects who is nearby and automatically creates groups for sharing visual content, and all photos goes publicly.

Friends of the users will be determined by algorithm, which will be based on how often the user hangs out with that person.

However, some criticisms and harsh reviews immediately surfaced on its first day, noting the feature that one needs to be nearby to his friends before the app will be useful.

With this, Color CEO Bill Nguyen announced the changes for the next shipment, as interviewed at Mashable on Friday, who acknowledged the not-so-good reviews of the app and even defended the high cost of investment.

Nguyen, who says that the aim of Color is to be the social network of the future and a billion dollar business venture, as well, told on the interview that a major update of the app will be released next week.
