As noted at EW.com on Friday, October 5, 2012, Alicia Silverstone, who played as Cher Horowitz, was reunited with fellow ‘Clueless‘ cast members, including Paul Rudd, Stacey Dash, Donald Faison, Jeremy Sisto, and Breckin Meyer. Brittany Murphy, who played as Tai Fraiser, passed away in 2009 at the age of 32.
“I had no idea. I’m so embarrassed. When I was done with the movie they told me about Emma. And I read the book and I was like, Wow, Amy did such a good job. I was reading it and I’d be like, Hey, there’s Justin Walker‘s character!” Alicia Silverstone told EW, who was only 17 when the film was released.
“I thought the clothes were so wonderful, by the end I wanted all of them. I took a few things here and there. I didn’t do a very good job at saving any of them. I was stupid about that whole thing. I think I gave them all away.” Silverstone added, whose other films include the 1997 ‘Batman & Robin’ movie where she played Batgirl.
Apparently, none of the ‘Clueless’ cast members knew that the American comedy movie was based on Jane Austen‘s 1815 novel. Other cast members were also interviewed by EW, which also featured other movie and TV reunions including E.T., Melrose Place, and Arrested Development in their latest magazine issue.
