Cleveland Cavaliers gets surprise win versus Boston Celtics

The Cleveland Cavaliers wins their first game without LeBron James in their fold. The Cavaliers upset the Boston Celtics with a 95-87 win. The Celtics is coming from an opening game win over the Miami Heat.

JJ Hickson anchored the Cavaliers offense as he scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. Daniel Gibson and Ramon Sessions added 16 and 14 points respectively. Rajon Rondo led the Celtics with 18 points and 9 assists. Paul Pierce, who topscored in the Celtics‘ win again the Heat on opening night, only scored 13 points. Newly acquired big man, Shaquille O’Neal, fouled out and contributed only 2 points.

LeBron James left Cleveland for Miami in the offseason. Miami lost their first game of the NBA 2010-11 Regular Season.
