Apparently, CJ Corona also revealed that he has a separate peso bank account amounting to around P80 million 3 peso bank accounts, but noted that they are co-mingled funds and he do not own them, citing among them were BGEI proceeds, savings from her daughters Charina and Carla.

Meanwhile, the Chief Justice also denied the allegations of Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales that he has 82 bank accounts amounting to $10 million-$12 million, and said he thinks that she allowed herself to be used by Malacanang, asking her to resign from her post.

At around 5 p.m., CJ Corona was discharged upon his request, citing health reasons, with Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile saying that the oral argument will be held on Monday, May 28, and the verdict will be announced immediately after.
