Fresh from her flubbed performance on the recent Super Bowl when she ‘changed’ the lyrics of the American National Anthem, the 30-year old pop singer seem to have another unlucky day.

Aguilera performed along with four other noted singers, and sang without any hiccups the greatest hits of legendary R&B singer Aretha Franklin, but slipped as she was about to leave the stage.

Christina Aguilera sang ‘Ain’t No Way’ solo wonderfully, while Jennifer Hudson, Yolanda Adams, Florence Welch of ‘Florence and the Machine’, and Martina Mcbride, rendered other Franklin songs including ‘Respect, ‘Spirit in the Dark’, and ‘You Make Me Feel (Like A Natural Woman)’.

The quintet received a standing ovation for their brilliant performance, but Christina Aguilera slipped and could have fallen on the stage if she was not able to hold on to the microphone.

Although surprised, Florence Welch acted immediately and assisted Aguilera back on her feet.
