Christina Aguilera’s ex, Jordan Bratman, made a move to hasten divorce proceedings between him and Aguilera, as reported by news sites, February 10, 2011. After filing the divorce in 2010, Christina Aguilera may finally be free from her 5-year marriage with estranged husband, Jordan Bratman. This is after Bratman filed new documents to hasten the court proceedings on the request for divorce. He cited “irreconcilable differences” as the main cause of the split. He submitted the new papers in Los Angeles court last Tuesday, February 8.

Five months after the pop star filed for divorce, the case has gotten nowhere. People speculated that it was because of the uncooperative attitude of the music marketer, Bratman. But the events changed as her soon-to-be-ex-husband files new court papers. International entertainment reports say the papers confirm that he does not intend to dispute the break up. Private settlement has been done regarding their properties and the custody of their 3-year old son, Max.

This move from the music producer was surprising considering that he refused to move out of the million dollar mansion he shared with Aguilera. Rumors say the decision was done after the awkward living arrangement he had with Aguilera’s new beau, Matthew Rutler. The three had been living together under one roof.

According to news reports, Jordan Bratman left the $12 million Beverly Hills Mansion while the pop singer was singing the National Anthem, Star Spangled Banner in the Super Bowl.

Meanwhile, Christina Aguilera is expected to perform in the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards along with other award winning singers Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga. The 2011 Grammy Awards will be held on February 13 in Los Angeles.
