China Plans To Build A Seven-Star Hotel Modeled After Dubai’s Burj Khalifa Worth $1.3 billion

BEIJING,CHINA – International news reported that Beijing authorities announced their plans to build a seven-star hotel modeled after Dubai‘s Burj Khalifa in partnership with Saudi Arabia. The announcement was made in a press conference on Wednesday, January 5, 2011.

According to reports, the planned seven-star hotel inspired by the world’s tallest building in Dubai will cost $1.3 billion. The planned location for the hotel to be erected will be in western Beijing‘s Mentougou district some 30 kilometres (18 miles) away from the Chinese capital’s center.

The China‘s version of the hotel were said to be less costly than that of Burj Khalifa. In a addition to this, an unnamed Chinese official said that the Saudi side will fund the entire hotel, but refused to provide other information.
