Reports said that the Colts head coach, Chuck Pagano was diagnosed with leukemia in September. Pagano reportedly announced that his cancer has gone into remission but he will still undergo treatment. Thirty Colts players already shaved their heads to support their head coach.

Colts cheerleader Megan M. reportedly accepted a challenge made by their team’s mascot, Blue. According to reports, Blue tweeted the challenge, asking if any Colts cheerleader would be willing to shave her head if the team was able to raise $10,000 for leukemia research.

“Blue challenged any of us cheerleaders. If he would raise $10,000 for cancer research, he asked if any of us would shave our head at the next game. Because of myself having friends who’ve been affected by cancer. And family members and my volunteer work, it was just something I absolutely wanted to do,” Megan M. was quoted as saying by RTV6.

Fans who would like to donate can do so by visiting Colts.com/chuckstrong. According to reports, the money will be donated to leukemia research program at IU Health Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis.
