Charice Pempengco To Sing The Christmas Song on NBC Special’s Christmas in Rockefeller Center Show?

Charice PempengcoCharice Pempengco has been chosen to participate in a grand ceremony of NBC Special’s “Christmas in Rockefeller Center in New York City this November 30 as reported by several entertainment news sites.

On ABS-CBN‘s TV Patrol episode yesterday, the young singer admitted that she was overwhelmed when she learned that she had been invited to the annual tree-lighting ceremony of the world-famous Christmas tree.

“As if I fell off my chair. It is a powerful line up and I feel like I need a powerful song for this.” Charice Pempengco said.

Charice said that they are still having discussions about what song she will perform on the tree-lighting ceremony. According to Charice, they are considering “The Christmas Song” of Nat King Cole. It is a classic song composed by Mel Torme and Bob Wells in 1944.

The 18-year-old singer Charice Pempengco will be performing alongside big names such as Mariah Carey, Josh Groban, Annie Lennox, and Sheryl Crow.
