Celine Dion finally announces the names for her newborn twins, and they are Eddy and Nelson.

As posted at People on Thursday, the names of Celine Dion’s twin boys were said to be taken from the people who inspired them a lot.

According to the online magazine, the name “Eddy” came from Eddy Marnay, the producer of Celine Dion’s first five records.

“He was like a father to her, Eddy is a major influence in both Celine and Rene‘s lives,” as told by a representative of the Titanic singer.

On the other hand, the name ‘Nelson’ was taken from Nelson Mandela, whom the Canadian singer met on her concert world tour in South Africa in 2008.

Rene said that in just the few minutes they were able to spend with him, they were impressed by the human being he is,” Celine Dion’s rep added.

The names of Dion’s twins were first reported by Canada‘s TVA, according to People.

Celine Dion gave birth to her twins via a C-section on Saturday at the St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The twin boys were said to have a minute-difference since the first came out at 1:11am, while the other one at 11:12 am.
