According to to the South China Morning Post early this week, the 76-year-old property and shipping tycoon is generously offering the $65-million “marriage bounty” who can be the right man for her 33-year old daughter. He also denied reports that Gigi married Sean in France back in April.

As noted in the report, Ms. Chao, who is also a businesswoman, has learned about her father’s reward and found it entertaining, noting that she will not worry about it until the “right man” starts courting her. Mr. Chao emphasized that he will not force his daughter to marry someone she does not like to be with.

“I don’t mind whether he is rich or poor. The important thing is that he is generous and kind-hearted. Gigi is a very good woman with both talents and looks. She is devoted to her parents, is generous, and does volunteer work.” Cecil Chao, who has never been married, was quoted telling to BBC News.

“It is an inducement to attract someone who has the talent but not the capital to start his own business,” Mr. Chao added, who is a famous billionaire in Hong Kong and once claimed to have slept with 10,000 women. His profile at Business Week says that he founded Cheuk Nang Holdings Ltd. and has been its Executive Chairman since 1988.

“I would like to announce that I suddenly received a whole bunch of followers on my Twitter account which I never use.” Gigi Chao was quoted by Huffington Post UK, writing on her official Facebook page, adding later that she is “no longer accepting Facebook friend requests…sorry.”
