The ‘Call of Duty Black Ops’ continues to be a box office hit, which made $650 million in five day sales, according to international news sites.

According to reports, Activision Publishing announced that ‘Call of Duty Black Ops’ continues to be a blockbuster, with a gross of $650 million in worldwide sales.

This apparently broke the previous record by ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’, which made about $550 million in its first five days of sale.

Call of Duty Black Ops’ now also holds the record for the biggest-selling video game of all time that was sold in GameStop and Amazon, and with the most number of daily players in Xbox Live.

According to the data of Microsoft, more than 2.6 million unique players were recorded on its launch day, November 9, who played for more than 5.9 million multiplayer hours online.

Meanwhile, ‘Call of Duty Black Ops’ now also holds the record of the being the top-grosser video game on a first day of release.

It was said to have $360 million in sales, and surpassed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’, which made $310 million during its first 24 hours after release.
