Is Britney Spears out from X Factor USA? Well, this is what some reports are now saying; noting that she decided to quit from the show after she learned that Simon Cowell will fire her as a X Factor Season 3 judge. The report comes almost a month after L.A. Reid announced that he will not also be returning to the show.

According to TMZ on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, multiple sources told them that Britney Spears quits from being among the X Factor judges and that she will be focusing more on her music. Spears, 31, is now working on her 8th studio album, which will be released through RCA Records.
“Britney loves Simon, she likes Demi Lovato but her thing is music.” A source was quoted at TMZ, with Britney reportedly considering doing a concert tour again since her 2011 Femme Fatale Tour was a success. Her Femme Fatale album won various Billboard Awards on the same year.
Apparently, a source was quoted at Daily Mail on the same day and confirmed that X Factor creator Simon Cowell was about to fire her because her performance was “boring.” Show insiders allegedly complained that she was not able to make a connection with the contestants.
“Britney and her team knew it was unlikely she’d be asked back as a judge. The producers have already been making other plans for next season over the holidays. The reality is that toward the end of last season the main players knew they wanted to replace both Britney and LA Reid.” The source said.
Meanwhile, Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment for the Fox Broadcasting Company, had only good words for Britney Spears for being an X Factor USA judge, and could be an indication that the network liked her performance. She reportedly received $15 million in X Factor Season 2.
“I actually thought it went very, very well. It was fraught with unknowns. I think Britney did a really good job. She came on, people remain fascinated by her and always will be.” Reilly was quoted at E! News, telling to reporters during an executive session at the Television Critics Association gathering in Pasadena this Tuesday.
“People got to know her a little bit, maybe some people were waiting for more drastic displays of some nature that never came…She tucked in really nicely on that bench.” Reilly added, noting that he still does not know if Britney Spears will still be hired in X Factor Season 3. Fox has no official statement yet.
