Britain’s Prince William is now engaged to Kate Middleton, and a Royal wedding will take place on 2011, according to international news site on Tuesday.

According to reports, the British royal family released a statement confirming that Prince William and Kate Middletoni are now engaged, and they will get married in London in the spring or summer next year.

Prince William and Kate Middleton became engaged in October during a private holiday in Kenya,” the statement said.

“Following the marriage, the couple will live in North Wales, where Prince William will continue to serve with the Royal Air Force.” The statement added.

Prince William was also reported to have informed the queen and other close members of the Royal family, and he also has asked permission from Kate’s father.

Prince William and Kate Middleton, who are now both 28 years old, have been dating since 2003, and early rumors are saying the two are very close and may end in a marriage.

And as the statement from the Buckingham Palace says, further details about the Prince William and Kate Middleton wedding will be announced later.
