Boston Celtics gets 12th straight with win over Atlanta Hawks in the NBA 2010-11 Season

BOSTON, Massachusetts – The Boston Celtics wins over the Atlanta Hawks, 102-90, on Thursday, December 17, 2010 at TD Garden, Boston, Massachusetts, according to NBA.com. The win thus extended the Celtics winning streak to 12 games.

Boston outplayed Atlanta even without injured star players, Rajon Rondo and Shaquille O’Neal. The Celtics teamwork resulted to six players scoring in double digits. Ray Allen top scored for Boston with 18 points, 17 came in the second half, while Glen Davis matched Allen‘s point production with 18  and grabbed 10 rebounds. Kevin Garnett added 17 points and 14 rebounds, while Paul Pierce scored 15 points and issued 10 assists.

Marvin Williams led the Hawks with a game-high 26 points. He shot nine of 15 from the field. Atlanta played without Jamal Crawford and Joe Johnson.
