Jon Bon Jovi is selling his home in New York City, as shown in the photos below, for a whooping price of $42 million. The iconic rock star and his wife Dorothea Hurley reportedly bought the penthouse in 2007 for $24 million, and quietly listed it in 2011 for $45 million.

According to a report by Real Estalker on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, Bon Jovi‘s $42M home is located at 158 Mercer Street in Soho, and was recently listed with Deborah Grubman and David Dubin of the Corcoran Group. It measures 7,452 square feet, and has 11 rooms, 5 bedrooms, and 5.5 bathrooms.

“The journey begins when you step off the elevator into the lower level foyer. Off the foyer is the massive Great Room, which has a wood-burning fireplace, a dining area, and a modern chef’s kitchen.” A statement reads at, describing Bon Jovi‘s apartment.

“On this level is the outstanding Master Bedroom Suite with a dressing room and marble bath. Additionally, on this level, are 4 bedrooms, each with a bath, a powder room and laundry room. This apartment offers protected, panoramic views looking over all of Soho and beyond.” Corcoran Group added.

Bon Jovi‘s house also has two U-shaped kitchens, which are both equipped with custom cabinetry and top of the line appliances. One is off the main living space on the upper level, while the slightly smaller kitchen is off the 1,100-plus square foot Great Room on the lower level.

Not long after Bon Jovi bought the house, he had it renovated. The master’s bedroom was moved to the lower level and includes a small reception area, a 25-foot long bedroom area with a trio of over-sized street-facing windows, a double-sided fitted dressing room, and a spacious bathroom.
