As featured at OWN on Sunday night, Oprah interviewed Whitney Houston‘s longtime manager and sister-in-law, Patricia Houston; her older brother, Gary; and her daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown.

On the first part of the show, Oprah showed some video clips of the ‘I Will Always Love You’ singer’s funeral and said, “Whitney Houston, the woman I called The Voice was gone. Almost immediately rumors began to swirl.”

“Since her death those closest to Whitney have remained silent…until tonight.” Oprah added, mentioning that Bobbi Kristina was hospitalized earlier; and interviewed Patricia first in her home outside Atlanta.

“She’s staying between homes. … I see her every single day. “I’m doing good. I’m doing as good as I possibly can at this point. I’m just trying to keep going.” Patricia told Oprah, adding that her niece is ‘taking it one day at a time”.

Later, Bobbi Kristina entered the room and told Oprah, “I’m doing good. I’m doing as good as I possibly can at this point. I’m just trying to keep going”, noting that her “family and the Lord” are the main reasons why she keeps on going.

“I can sing her music, but to hear it now, I can’t. I can hear her voice telling me to keep moving, baby, I gotcha. She’s always with me.” Bobbi Kristina said, noting that Whitney has not only been a mother to her, but as a friend and sister as well.

“They don’t know who she was. Everything people are saying about her – all that negativity, it’s garbage. That’s not my mother. … In reality, I know who she was. Her family knows who she was.” The 19-year old Whitney Houston‘s daughter said of her mother.

Moments later, Gary, Whitney‘s older brother, joined the conversation with Patricia and Oprah and talked about the incident when Bobby Brown left abruptly at the singer’s funeral, denying rumors that Bobbi Kristina‘s father was not welcomed here.

“No, he was supposed to be there. He reached out to me a couple of days after the funeral, Gary told Oprah, noting that he was never expecting that Whitney will be leaving them that soon.
