Bigfoot hair samples needed by Researchers to Solve Bigfoot Mystery

Bigfoot hair samples will be studied by European researchers using new techniques to analyze DNA, according to reports by several international new sites on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Researchers believed that studying these hair samples can help solve the mystery of Bigfoot‘s existence.

Reports say that new DNA analysis will be done using a few strands of hair. Scientists expect their analysis to be completed within weeks. The Bigfoot hair samples will be studied closely to establish its close relation to other species that include apes or humans.

The Oxford University and scientist from Lausanne Museum of Zoology has already issued an appeal to museums, scientists and Yeti aficionados for hair samples that they believe is from the Bigfoot.

According to Bryan Sykes of Oxford University, they already received several offers of samples to test. Sykes explained that these samples will undergo a screening process for several months before a test is conducted. The results of the study will be published in a peer-reviewed journal.

Bigfoot is reportedly a legendary giant, hairy, ape-like beast that is also known in several names that include Sasquatch, the Abominable Snowman, and Yeti among others. The mythical ape-like creature reportedly lives in heavily forested or snowy mountains.
