US First Lady Michelle Obama has responded to Beyonce’s letter thanking her being a role model for her and her three-month-old daughter with husband Jay-Z, Blue Ivy Carter.

@Beyonce Thank you for the beautiful letter and for being a role model who kids everywhere can look up to. –mo” Mrs. Obama (@MichelleObama) tweeted on Saturday, April 14, 2012.

Apparently, the Michelle Obama is referring to the handwritten letter of singer Beyonce Knowles posted on her official website last Thursday, noting that she is “the ultimate example of a truly strong African American woman”.

“She is a caring mother, she’s a loving wife, while at the same time, she is the First Lady!!!!” Beyonce wrote at Beyonce.com, which was officially launched last April 5 via her first ever Twitter message.

“No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope — she’s humble, loving, and sincere. She builds and nurtures her family, while also looking out for so many millions in so many ways.” Beyonce added.

Michelle, thank you so much for every single that you do for us. I am proud of have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to.” Beyonce wrote in the latter part.
