The New Orleans Hornets continue their franchise best start of the NBA 2010-11 Regular Season with a 75-71 win over the Sacramento Kings on Sunday, at the ARCO Arena, Sacramento, California, according to NBA.com. With their third straight win, the Hornets now share the NBA‘s best record with the San Antonio Spurs with an 11-1 win-loss record.

David West top scored for the Hornets with 17 points, while Trevor Ariza added 16.  Chris Paul dished off 14 assists to involve his teammates in offense. Donte Greene led Sacramento with 15 points and 10 rebounds while Luther Head added 11 points and Tyreke Evans scored only nine points. The Kings have lost nine of their last 10 games after opening the season 3-1.

The New Orleans Hornets made a trade Saturday designed to get under the NBA‘s luxury tax while finding a solid backup point guard to lighten the load on Chris Paul. The trade will send Peja Stojakovic and Jerryd Bayless to Toronto for point guard Jarrett Jack, center David Andersen and guard Marcus Banks. The three new players will suit up for the Hornets in their game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night.
