Tropical Storm Ruby (international name: Hagupit) has further weakened as it moves across Southern Batangas, PAGASA said on its 20th Severe Weather Bulletin issued at 11pm, December 8, 2014.
According to the bulletin, Ruby’s center was located at 45km south of Ambulong, Tanauan City, Batangas as of 4pm. It moves west at 13kph with a maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph.

Public storm warning signals have been lowered already to most of the areas affected. The following are the remaining areas with warning signals:

- Northern Oriental Mindoro
- Northern Occidental Mindoro
- Lubang Island
Signal No. 1
- Metro Manila
- Southern Quezon
- the rest of Mindoro Provinces
TS “RUBY” and the Northeast Monsoon will cause rough to very rough sea conditions over the seaboards of Luzon. Fisherfolks and those using small sea craft are advised not to venture out over the said seaboards, PAGASA said.
Ruby is expected to be out of landmass by early morning of Tuesday and out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Wednesday evening, the PAGASA bulletin said. Some classes are still suspended tomorrow because of this weather disturbance.
