Bagyong Juaning 5 a.m. July 27 Update and PAGASA Weather Forecast

Bagyong Juaning or Tropical Storm Juaning still threatens Central Luzon and Metro Manila as it maintained its speed and strength going into the West Northwest direction, according to the latest severe weather bulletin published by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on its official website as of 5 a.m. today, July 27, 2011.

Tropical storm Juaning was spotted at 90 km East of Infanta, Quezon, moving at 11 kph with maximum sustained winds of 85 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 100 kph.

The PAGASA latest weather forecast indicates that the tropical cyclone is expected to make a landfall over Polillo Island by 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and is expected to be in Southern Aurora by 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. going through Central Luzon. Bagyong Juaning is estimated to be in the area of Dagupan City by Thursday morning and 410 km West Northwest of Laoag City by early Friday.
