In line with the Back To The Future film 25th Anniversary, Telltale Games and Universal have announced to launch the Back To The Future Game on December, according to international entertainment news.

The announcement came in as the original casts of Back to the Future movie reunited in New York recently to celebrate its 25th anniversary, which include Michael J. Fox, Lea Thompson, and Christopher Lloyd.

The Back To The Future Game, which is a five-interactive adventure series is set to be available in December for the PC and Mac, and will later also be available at Apple iPad and PlayStation Network versions.

“We’re very excited to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Back to the Future franchise with a completely new adventure,” Telltale Games CEO Dan Connors reportedly said in a statement.

“It’s been an amazing experience to be part of reuniting Marty McFly and Doc Brown on their continuing quest. Back to the Future fans will have a great time helping to control the integrity of the space-time continuum.” He added.

Back in 1985, the Back To The Future film hit the theaters and became a household name not only with the unique appeal of the story, but also with the enchanting characters lead by Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) and mad scientist, Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd).

Universal Pictures just cannot help but make a sequel (Back To The Future II) in 1989, and Back To The Future III in 1990 to complete the trilogy.

Interestingly, the Back To The Future 25th Anniversary Trilogy Blu-ray set is scheduled to be released on October 26, 1010.

But for the Back To The Future Game, it is now available for pre-order, and costs $24.95 but includes a free copy of “Puzzle Agent,” which is currently being sold separately at $9.95.

In addition, Telltale said a $1 from every pre-order will be donated to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

Interested parties can make a pre-order at Telltale’s official website.
