Baby Ayden Survives Raleigh Tornado: Why Do Babies Usually Survive?

The news of Ayden, the 3-month old baby, who survived the tornado onslaught without a scratch in Raleigh, North Carolina, has been great news for everyone who has read the report disclosed by US news sites. April 18, 2011.

It is not the first time that a baby miraculously survived a natural calamity or an accident.  On October 16, 2009, a baby survived with just a “cut in the forehead” when his pram rolled into an incoming train.

On March 7, 2011, a 10-month old baby in Kentucky suffered only scratches when an SUV accidentally crashed into the baby’s room.

In Japan, a 4-month old baby survived the recent earthquake last March 11, 2011.

There are still numerous similar stories where babies had miraculously survived which may have been a tragic end. Why do babies survive and adults do not? Several answers given were these:

“They are being protected by their angels.”

“They have more flexible bone structure, that do not break easily.’

“They are naturally protected by nature itself.”
