Azkals vs Nepal result: Philippine Azkals wins against Nepal Tigers (4-0)

Manila, Philippines – The Philippine Azkals won against the Nepal Tigers (4-0) on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, held at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium in Manila.

As shown live at ABS-CBN’s Studio 23, the Azkals vs Nepal match started being aired at around 6 p.m. (local time) and kicked off an hour later, which was part of the ASEAN Region Tour.

The Azkals scored two goals on the second half from Phil Younghusband and Matthew Hartmann, while another two goals during the first half and courtesy of the Younghusband brothers.

Phil Younghusband scored his second goal 54th minute and assisted Matthew Hartmann in his goal in the 88th minute, which made the Filipino fans screamed with excitement.

For the first half, the Philippine Azkals led the game (2-0) with brothers Phil and James Younghusband making the goals during the 16th minute and 29th minute, respectively.

The Azkals, which ranked 166th by FIFA, lost from Singapore last Friday, October 7, which was held at the Jalan Besar Stadium, while the Nepal Tigers ranked 135th.
