Avengers movie trailer released, launched at Apple (Video)

The 2012 movie ‘Avengers’ trailer was released on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 and was officially launched at Apple, as shown in the video below.

Apparently, the Avengers trailer starts with a voiceover stating “You were made to be ruled… and in the end, it will be every man for himself,” while showing the city being attacked by villain Loki.

Later, S.H.I.E.L.D. leader Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson, can be heard explaining to his superhero recruitment drive which includes Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and Black Widow.

Incidentally, among the actors who will reprising their roles are Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor; and Scarlett Johannsen as Black Widow.

In addition, Clark Gregg and Stellan Skarsgård will also repeat their roles as Phil Coulson and Erik Selvig, respectively, as well as Paul Bettany, who will again be the voice behind Edwin Jarvis.

Tom Hiddleston will again portray as Loki, Thor‘s adoptive brother and nemesis. The role of Hulk was supposed to be portrayed by Edward Norton but was replaced by Mark Ruffalo.

Other stars included in the “The Avengers” film are Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill. Avengers co-creator Stan Lee will have a cameo role.

The Avengers movie was based on the fictional characters at Marvel Comics, and was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. It was produced by Marvel Studios and being distributed by Walt Disney Pictures.

The all-star cast film is scheduled to be released on May 4, 2012 in the US, directed by Joss Whedon.
