Ashton Kutcher Projects More Wholesome Persona than Charlie Sheen in Two and a Half Men News Goes Viral on Twitter

Ashton Kutcher will be replacing Charlie Sheen in the cast of “Two and a Half Men” this fall, and reportedly he will be injecting a more wholesome persona than Charlie Sheen’s. Entertainment sites and twitter are a-buzz with the news this May 13, 2011CBS announced that Kutcher will be the new man in the popular comedy sitcom.

Rumors circulated that the first candidate, Hugh Grant, had refused the offer. Ashton Kutcher became the first celebrity in 2009 to have a million followers. At present, he has more than six million tweeter followers.  He had given hints before the official announcement with questions like, “What is the square root of 6.25?” the answer is 2.5. This created a viral thread at Twitter.

Kutcher, 33, is married to Demi Moore and according to various sites; his TV personality in “That ‘70s Show” is somewhat different from Charlie Sheen’s.  While Sheen projects men’s “dominance” and flighty nature, Kutcher projects a more “settled” and “affable” character.  He has also a more stable personal life than Sheen’s “drugs and women”  escapades.

Kutcher’s latest movie with Natalie Portman in “No Strings Attached” made good money locally and internationally.

According to TMZ, Charlie Sheen has this to say about Ashton Kutcher’s selection:

Kutcher is a sweetheart and a brilliant comedic performer…Oh wait, so am I!”
