Arnold Schwarzenegger writes memoir with a tentative title: ‘Total Recall: My Unbelievable True Life Story’

Arnold Schwarzenegger, actor and politician who served as the 38th Governor of California, has an agreement with Simon & Schuster to publish a memoir in October 2012, as announced by several entertainment news sites, September 22, 2011.

According to reports, Arnold Schwarzenegger is currently writing an autobiography that will discuss the breakup of his marriage to Maria Shriver in addition to his childhood in Austria and his careers as a bodybuilder, action star and politician.

Related reports claim that the memoir will be co-written by Peter Petre, who has worked on best sellers by former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan and Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf.

Simon & Schuster publisher Jonathan Karp, apparently shared his fascination saying, “Truly, Arnold is one of the most fascinating figures of our time, and one of the greatest success stories in the world. Nobody has a life story even close to his.”

As purportedly revealed by Simon & Schuster, “Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story” is the book’s working title.
