As noted at ABS-CBN News on Wednesday, Ara Mina filed the charges at the Quezon City fiscal’s office along with her lawyer that afternoon, and cried while talking to the media explaining why she is suing Cristine Reyes.

According to the report, Mina‘s lawyer told reporters that Cristine, 23, allegedly asked Ara, 32, to give her SUV to her as payment for the remaining balance for a property they bought for their mother, and allegedly sent her hurtful text messages.

“Hanggang makakapag-pasensya, magpa-pasensya ako. Punung-puno na ako eh, hindi ko na kaya, kasi kung anu-ano na ang sinasabi niya. Kailangan ko lang gawin ‘to kasi ayaw niya makipag-usap. Para maturuan siya ng leksyon, kasi hindi na tama ‘yung ginagawa niya,” Mina was quoted telling reporters.

(As much as possible, I try to keep my patience. I am now fed up; I cannot take it anymore since she has been telling many things to me. I need to do this because she does not want to talk to me. This is to teach her a lesson since what she is doing now is not right.)

“Kung ayaw niyo manggulo ako sa buhay niyo, bayaran utang niyo sa akin. Kung wala kayo pangbayad, ibigay niyo hinihingi ko,” An alleged text message of Cristine to Ara reads, with Ara later noting that her sister paid P1 million for the said house and she paid P2.3 million.

(If you do not want me to bring trouble to your lives, pay your debt to me. If you have nothing to pay, give me what I am asking for)

As of this writing, Reyes, who is among the stars of ABS-CBN‘s TV series “Dahil sa Pag-Ibig”, has not yet aired her side on the issue; but her manager Veronique del Rosario noted that their camp will wait for a copy of the complaint before issuing a statement.
