Apple’s iPad Sale in South Korea on November 30

SEOULSouth Korea’s wireless operator KT announced today, November 21, 2010, that they will start selling Apple’s iPad on November 30.

KT, South Korea’s sole distributor of Apple’s iPhone and iPad, said that they will sell iPad at 218,000 won (192 dollars) with a two-year contract, rising to 865,000 won with additional features.

Reports say, that more than 40,000 South Koreans have pre-ordered the popular gadget since November 17.

Announcement comes after South Korea’s Samsung Electronics launched its own tablet computer last week in domestic market. A high number of demands for the Samsung 7-inch tablet screen went on sale last week.

Apple Inc. controlled 95 percent of the market for tablet computers in the third quarter, when global sales totaled 4.4 million units, according to researcher Strategy Analytics.
