Ann Ward wins America’s Next Top Model crown, who was early dubbed as the girl with ‘the smallest waist ever’ by contest host Tyra Banks that earned some controversy.

According to US entertainment news sites, Ann Ward, who stands at 6’2” was announced as America’s Next Top Model winner on Wednesday, and won amazing prizes on its 15th cycle including a spread in Italian Vogue.

As shown in the video below, 19-year old Ann Ward burst into tears and hid her face in her hands as her name was announced as the grand winner, beating Chelsea Hersley who won as the second place.

Ward, who just graduated from Prosper High School last year also broke Top Model records after winning the “photo of the week” five weeks in a row.

“I won! I can’t believe any of this right now.” Ann Ward said. “I’m so happy that I can make my parents proud”.

Back in August, Ann Ward was introduced in the competition (see video below). A lot of comments have been said apparently because of her unusual appearance, being so young but so thin and tall.
