The $1K fashion selection by Mrs. Romney went viral on several social networking and blog sites.

Reports say that the Romney‘s $1K blouse features a screen-printed bodice of a red, orange and yellow bird with brown sleeves. It was part of a Spring 2012 collection reportedly sold for $990, according to Styleite.com.

A statement issued by Krakoff‘s representative explains that they “had nothing to do with it. She must have bought it from Saks or Bergdorf‘s, we definitely didn’t send it to her. It’s 100 percent a Reed Krakoff shirt, but we 100 percent didn’t send it to her. We don’t get involved politically.
