The Chrome-branded Angry Birds was said to be developed especially for Google Chrome OS. The game is still in beta, and includes 63 levels of the original game. “We are bringing ‘Angry Birds’ to the biggest platform of the Web, and it’s one of the best versions we built to date,” Peter Vesterbacka of Rovio was quoted saying. “It really rocks, as you will see.”

According to reports, once the application has been downloaded and installed in a Chrome browser, the game will be playable in its full version even if the computer is no longer connected to the internet.
