Cooper, 44, who was seen giggling on the same show last August 2011 over some bathroom-related puns, giggled again on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 and this time over the story of Dyngus Day, a Polish-American holiday in Buffalo, New York, celebrating the end of Lent.

On the first part of that segment, Anderson is seen on his usual facial expression as he explains the Dyngus Day, but later burst into laughter after hearing the voice over’s statement about the said holiday.

“The guirky little ritual includes boys sprinkling girls that they fancy with water and the girls striking back with a tap from a pus*y willow branch.” The voice-over announcer said, and Cooper was not able to control himself and started to laugh.

Apparently, the 2011 Emmy Award winner for Outstanding Coverage category giggled that night until he decided to leave his seat for about a minute, saying, “I’m not gonna let you do this”.

However, Anderson could not focus and continue his talk, and later heard saying ‘It’s really so stupid’ repeatedly, as he continued to giggle and even got a tissue and wiped his eyes as tears start to show.

Nevertheless, it did not take after the show when Anderson went to Twitter, tweeting Just learned some groups believe I called Dyngus Day “so stupid” in ridiculist. I didn’t. I was saying my giggling fit was “so stupid.”

“In ridiculist I called my silly giggle fit “so stupid” not @dyngusday. Sounds like a fun celebration. Genuinely sorry if I offended anyone.” Anderson Cooper (@andersoncooper) tweeted later.
