American Idol: David Cook to perform in Idol’s season finale, newest video to premiere on iTunes

As reported, May 22, 2011 by Reality TV Magazine, American Idol’s season seven winner, David Cook, was confirmed to perform Tuesday on the first part of the season finale.  Relatively, report further reveals that his newest video will be released on iTunes next week.

It was reported that American Idol returns Tuesday for the season 10 finalist’s performances, also joining Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina during the show is David Cook.

Allegedly, it was confirmed through a press release that David Cook will return to the American Idol stage for a live performance of “Don’t You (Forget About Me)”.

Apparently, Cook recorded this as the send-off song for this year’s American Idol and was heard every week this season. Similarly, it was American Idol creator and Executive Producer Simon Fuller who chose the song which is a remake from Simple Minds 1985 smash hit “Don’t You (Forget About Me)”.

As reports further attest, Cook previously guessed in the show this season were in he sang “The Last Goodbye” to rave reviews.

Purportedly, “The Last Goodbye” will be released in iTunes next week; fans, as reported, are over ecstatic to hear about the great news.
