American Idol 2012 clothing collection Authentic Icon (AI) at Kohl’s to be available starting April

A new set of American Idol 2012 clothing collection will be available exclusively at Kohl’s stores and starting April 20 and will last until June, which was launched on Wednesday, March 21, 2012.

According to a press release by Kohl’s on its official company website that day, this latest American Idol clothing collection fashion brand will share the initials AI with the singing competition show, having Authentic Icon as its label.

As noted in the report, the AI clothing collection will be available in the said stores to coincide with the ongoing American Idol Sesaon 11, wherein the remaining finalists started wearing its fashion during the American Idol 2012 Top 10 performance night on Wednesday.

“This launch brings together a national retailer and award-winning television show to create a new collection for customers,” said, Kohl’s chairman, president and CEO Kevin Mansell was quoted at

“For over a decade American Idol has seamlessly woven fashion and music together to transform lives and create music icons.” said David Luner, EVP of Consumer Products and Interactive for FremantleMedia Enterprises, producer of the American Idol show along with 19 Entertainment.

“It was a natural extension to partner on a line of American Idol inspired apparel that captures the essence of our rich music, style and performance heritage.” Luner added, with the AI clothing collection to be prominently positioned in the junior’s and young men’s departments of Khol’s stores.
