A US health study has just released the list of America‘s healthiest and unhealthiest States for this year, 2010 on Tuesday, .a study sponsored by the United Health Foundation (UHF) and the American Public Health Association.

According to its annual report of America’s Health Rankings that has been doing the said study for 21 years, Vermont is the healthiest US state this year and has been for two consecutive years. Vermont was said to have been steadily increasing its rank for the last 12 years.

On the other hand, Mississippi is the 50th or the unhealthiest US state this year and has been on the last for the last nine years, since 1990; according to the report.

Massachusetts landed on the second healthiest state which made on the third spot last year, while New Hampshire is on the third spot and was on the fourth place last year.

Hawaii and Minnesota had the same ranking as last year, with 5th and 6th, respectively, as Utah went down to number 7 which was the second healthiest state last year.
