Alicia Keys and Lady Gaga to sign-off from Facebook and Twitter on World AIDS Day 2010 for charity

Alicia Keys and Lady Gaga will be among the Hollywood celebrities who will sign-off from Facebook and Twitter on World AIDS Day 2010 for a charity project, according to international news sites.

Keys, as the first Global Ambassador of Keep A Child Alive, which help families affected by HIV/AIDS, has her charity campaign this year is entitled Digital Life Sacrifice and have been convincing top Hollywood stars and singers to sign-off from social networking sites temporarily.

Lady Gaga, who has more than 7.2 million followers on Twitter and nearly 24 million fans on Facebook, did not say no and will be among who will start to get away digitally starting December 1, 2010, World AIDS Day.

Usher, Justin Timberlake and Jennifer Hudson, are only among the celebrity participants who joined Alicia Keys and Lady Gaga, who will only sign back when the funds of the said charity campaign reaches $1 million.

Besides Alicia Keys’ husband Swizz Beatz, other top Hollywood names that were reported to have joined the campaign include Ryan Seacrest, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Elijah Wood, Serena Williams, and Janelle Monae.
