“Hilaria Thomas and Alec Baldwin were married this evening…in New York City, sharing the occasion with family and friends inside the Cathedral, and Alec warmly receiving congratulations from well-wishing fans on his way into the service.” Matthew Hiltzik (@HiltzikStrat), a friend of the couple tweeted that day.
According to People, Alec and Hilaria were married at the Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in Manhattan and Rev. George Deas performed the wedding ceremony, where among the guests include his brothers Stephen and Billy Baldwin; and friends Tina Fey, Woody Allen and wife Soon Yi, and Robert Kennedy Jr, among others.
Thomas, now Hilaria Baldwin, who grew up mostly in Spain, reportedly wore a silk magnolia trumpet Amsale gown with cap sleeves and a keyhole back neckline accented with crystal buttons, with the reception set to take place at the Kimmel Center in New York University.
As noted by E! Online, Ireland Baldwin, Alec‘s 16-year-old daughter with ex-wife, actress Kim Basinger, was also present during the wedding, along with Saturday Night Live producer Lorne Michaels, Jimmy Fallon, and Mariska Hargitay.
Baldwin, 54, and Thomas, 28, who co-owns a yoga studio in New York, were engaged in early April, which Hiltzik also revealed via Twitter, with People noting that the two have been dating since last year. This is the second marriage for Alec, after he married Kim in 1993, but officially divorced in 2002.
