According to international news sites, Muammar Gadhafi’s daughter, Aisha, who is a former U.N. goodwill ambassador and has kept a low profile, has given birth in Algeria.

CNN said their source have confirmed the report with the gender of the baby not yet known, while other reports mentioned that Algerian Health Ministry said that Aisha Gadhafi gave birth to a baby girl.

Aisha, who is in her mid-30s and the only daughter of Muammar Gadhafi, was said to be doing fine in Algeria after giving birth although her due was supposed to be next month, September.
