Aflac Duck’s New Voice Is Daniel McKeague, Replaced Gilbert Gottfried (Video)

Daniel McKeague has been chosen by insurance giant, Aflac, to replace comedian Gilbert Gottfried, as reported earlier by several international news sites.

McKeague is the radio station sales manager of KQRS in Minneapolis.

The 36-year-old McKeague beat out some 12, 500 applicants for the job. His first commercial was aired Tuesday night, during the NBC singing competition “The Voice”.

Comedian Gilbert Gottfried, the former voice of Aflac was fired last March after making a number of distasteful jokes about the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Gottfried has been the voice of Aflac‘s duck in the U.S. for 11 years.
