The former house of “Addams Family” creator Charles Addams, as shown in the photos below, in New Jersey, is for sale worth $839,000.

Apparently, an open house was made early last June for the “Addams Family” house but was found to be still listed at Realtor.com early this month, as “house for sale“.

The nearly-century old house, which has been added to the National Register of Historic Places, is the boyhood home of cartoonist Charles Addams and where he started to create the iconic Addams Family.

Coincidentally, the address of Addams’ house is 522 Elm St, Westfield Town, New Jersey, which may remind moviegoers of the creepy film “Nightmare on Elm Street”.

Meanwhile, the historical house, which Addams have lived from 1920 to 1947 with his first wife, (not named Morticia), has 6 bedrooms and 2-1/2 bathroom, with an area of around 0.24 Acres.

The “Addams Family” home has a total of 9 rooms and a Center Island, Eat-In Kitchen with some kitchen appliances including a dishwasher, refrigerator, exhaust fan and microwave oven.

According to the report, the two-level house was built in 1907 but has been carefully preserved with the yard having an enchanting landscape and a 2 car detached garage with potting shed.

In addition, the single-family home has various amenities including a formal living room (21×16) with fireplace and pantry, smoke detector as well as carbon monoxide detector.
