ABS-CBN has filed a P486 million counter suit against Willie Revillame before a Quezon City court.

This is after there were rumors that former TV host of Wowowee will host a new TV show at TV5.

According to recent post at ABS-CBN website, the network company is requiring Revillame to pay them P426.92 million for breach of contract.

In addition, they are seeking for a P20-M payment for moral and exemplary damages, as well as for attorney’s fees and litigation expenses.

Augusto San Pedro Jr, ABS-CBN’s lawyer, filed the 139-page counter suit in front of Judge Luisito Cortez of Regional Trial Court Branch 84, in Quezon City.

Earlier, Willie Revillame filed a P11-million suit against ABS-CBN when his former noontime TV show Wowowee was slaughtered last July, 2010.

On the other hand, ABS-CBN said that Willie violated ‘behavioral provisions’ and that he have no legal rights to end his contract on his own.

ABS-CBN argued that the TV host has no right to claim damages since “he is the guilty party who breached his obligations under the agreement.”
