About 4.2 Million Watch Conan Debut, Beats All Late-night Talk Show Rivals

TBS reported Tuesday that approximately 4.2 million viewers watched Conan‘s debut on Monday beating his late night talk show competitors.

According to reports, about 3.3 million adults aged 18-49 and 2.5 million aged 18-34, tuned in on Monday’s debut of Conan which top-rated late night show on TV.

The Washington Post had reported that Jay Leno‘s “The Tonight Show” only got an average of 3.5 million viewers on Monday night while David Letterman‘s CBS late night show snagged an average of 3.4 million viewers.

Conan also top-rated Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show in Comedy Central having an average rating of 1.3 million viewers and the The Colbert Report with 1 million total viewers on Monday night.
